Terms and Conditions of Sale - Safety Squad Limited

Disclaimer: Whilst it is our intention to keep our website up to date and error free, product description or pricing errors may occur. If we discover such an error after you have submitted an order to us, we will contact you prior to accepting your order with the correct details. You may then either cancel your order or re-confirm it based on the correct information. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat your order as cancelled.

Contract for the Supply of Goods: The display of goods on the site amounts to an invitation to treat only and is not an offer to sell goods at any price indicated. No contract for the supply of goods will be deemed to exist between you and the site, unless, and until an email is sent by the site to you confirming that your order has processed by our staff and is being invoiced in full. This confirmation e-mail amounts to an acceptance of your offer to buy goods from the site and this acceptance is effective regardless of whether or not you receive the e-mail. 

Price promise: we are confident that we will not be beaten on price. If you see the same product advertised at a lower price in stock and not on special offer, we will endeavour to match the price. We will consider all price beat requests; however, any price beat will be offered at our discretion. We reserve the right to refuse a price beat at any time.

Pricing: The site reserve the right to amend pricing at any time. If, however an order has been accepted, we will notify you prior to shipment of any change. You have the right to cancel the item from the order at no cost to either party.

Processing of orders: Your order may be delayed if the item is not in stock with our suppliers. Some items may be unavailable. We regret we are not able to supply dates our suppliers may get an item in stock. Delivery The order in this instance should be delivered within 7 days of you making the online purchase. If the item does not arrive within this 7-day period, then you can contact us and ask that it be delivered at another date that is convenient for you. 

Returns: If your purchase is eligible for free shipping and goods are returned courier deduction will apply.  A restocking fee may apply to goods returned of 25% if products under these criteria are returned in the case of good will gesture. Batteries and Pads ordered cannot be returned due to Expiry Date and Shelf Life. Defibrillator Pads and Batteries are technically special orders and ordered from the Distributor only as required. Products must be returned at customer’s own expense. Any credits and refunds will be made only after we receive and inspect the goods returned. Refunds will only be provided using the same payment card used to place the order.

Damaged & Missing Products:: The Customer must make any claims for damaged or missing product within 5 working days, of expected delivery date or receipt of delivery. We reserve the right to refuse any claims made after 5 working days. This does not affect the Customer’s statutory rights.

Limitation of Liability: Except as specifically stated on this site, none of its directors, employees or other representatives will be liable for damages arising out of or in connection with the use of this site. This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties.

Illegal Acts: It is a crime to use a false name or a known invalid credit card to order. Anyone caught wilfully entering an erroneous or fictitious orders will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. We track the electronic ‘fingerprints’ of every order placed on the site to enable us to provide all legitimate crime prevention information to authorities to trace individual users engaging in criminal activities on our website.  Governing Law All purchases from the site are subject to Irish Law.

Assignment The Buyer shall not assign or transfer or purport to assign or transfer to any other person the contract or the benefit thereof or the benefit of any condition, warranty or guarantee or other term or condition (express or implied) forming part thereof or relating to the goods.

Warranty: Our suppliers cover all standard product warranties. The company shall not under any circumstance or whatsoever be liable for any damages where the consequential or otherwise howsoever caused or occasioned and this undertaking is given in place of and excludes all other warranties and condition whatsoever whether implied by statute or otherwise. The customer shall be responsible for any non-recoverable costs incurred by the company should the customer cancel an order it has placed.

Generally all our sales are paid straight away through this online shop. Payment of account must be made within thirty days of month end in which the goods were supplied and shall be strictly net. Cheques shall be made payable to the company. Credit terms offered by the company are thirty days from month end of invoice date but such terms may be terminated at any time without prior notice by the company whereupon all balances, inclusive of interest, shall become due and owing forthwith. The operation of this term shall be at the company’s absolute discretion.  The prices charged are at the date of dispatch of goods. Title of goods does not pass until payment is received in full.  It is an expressed condition of sale that in the event of the company having to recourse to legal action or debt collection agents against the customer in order obtain of outstanding accounts any costs in doing so are payable by the customer on a full indemnity basis and the company shall have the right to charge without notice interest at 2.5% per month, then currently enforce on any overdue accounts for as long as they are overdue.
